Freepay vs Trainn
They both have PS3 offers, what's the difference? I'm just curious, as a newb.

Trainn has more choices as to package deals. For 8 offers, you get the system(just like Freepay)
If you do more offers, you get games/controllers and other accessors. Just check the main trainn ps3 site and it'll list the prizes.

any difference otherwise, like in shipping or service, etc...

to keep it simple,
freepay > trainn
one advantage that trainn has though, is that it's small which allows it to send items on an individual basis. unlike freepay which sends in huge shipments of 50+

my personal experience has been that trainn is much easier to deal with especially as far as customer support goes and that they get your stuff out to you faster.
IMO
Trainn > FreePay

Jake by himself makes Freepay > Trainn =]
But Trainn DOES offer paypal as an option for payout which I'm sure many people are taking advantage of.

i would say overall trainn is better (faster shipping.. offers paypal.. better support) ...but i would much rather do a freepay site just because i trust them more.. thats really the only thing

IMO, freepay = trainn = me - boredom + freebies = godlike

One thing to keep in mind is that Freepay hasn't shipped out any XBox360s yet while Trainn has shipped out a few shipments so judging from history if you want your ps3 in a timely fashion you are more likely to get it from Trainn.

freepay hands down
i was getting ipods from freeipods.com while trainn wasn't anywhere in sight yet (
Jake alone makes it better, helped me out a lot when i had account problems.
if you're new, i guess you would lean toward trainn. but thats just my opinion.

freepay credits slow and has the worst customer support ever it's been 32 and a half weeks since i opened a ticket and they still haven't gotten back to me. Approval for freepay took my fiend almost a month, As far as shipping i don't know.

Not dealt with Trainn. When they have a laptop offer, I may give them a shot.

There are other options available to you in terms of contacting us (one of them being me here on the board). PM me with your email address, account number, and your question and I'll get it dealt with. I will also see what happened to your inquiry in our system. It must have gotten lost in the shuffle somewhere.

For PS3s, go with Trainn. Trainn has sent out many units, I believe all orders made through late November have been filled. Freepay has not even shown any attempt to try and fill their customers' orders.

I'm not making light of Jake as an excellent source of customer support for FreePay, but we can't leave out the fact that Jake is only one person while Trainn has a team of support operators that have each (the ones that I have received responses from) been just as understanding/helpful/informative as Jake in my opinion. Just something to consider.
Oh yeah and the broken PSP issue that people have posted about that still hasn't been resolved [i1ac0d3865c]sucks[/i1ac0d3865c] in my opinion and if Trainn has already filled numerous 360 orders to FreePay's zero then I still stand by my initial contribution to this thread
Trainn > FreePay

I was thinking of sticking with freepay for all of my offers because it's the most legit looking service, but after looking into it more Trainn seems like a good alternative. I've been processing on my psp for a few weeks now so any faster than that has got to be an improvement.

We also have a team of support agents. They just don't surf the message board.

Ok, but my personal experience with your team of support agents is that they have been significantly less helpful in all aspects of customer support than Trainn's team. It appears I am not the only one who has had this experience.

On the Trainn site, it wouldn't let me see how many referrals or how many points you need for a PS3. Maybe I just couldn't find it. Does anybody now how many referrals? Is the point system a good idea, or would you have to do a bunch.

This is what scares me.... I CAN'T STAND WAITING. lol. I finished PS3s.freepay in the first or second batch so I'm hoping they get some pre orders or something in. I may even go to trainn, finish that one and sell the one i get from freepay.
I actually had a terrible time with Trainn's support. The special thing about freepay is that if anything takes more than a week, I PM him and he gets it fixed in a day. I PMed Trainn-Alan, and he didn't even respond when he got it. It took me a month and a half to get my green from Trainn, and I felt like they were giving me the run-around. It was pretty bad. Whoever waited 32.5 weeks, just PM Jake after a week and he'll take care of it. Jake's the man! There is no reason to wait that long.
