I am in that new cool club going around the 10/13's!! I know it is very tough sounding and I am proud to be a member of it .

I did e-mail gratis and asked them what was their method to the madness and I got the canned e-mail saying 2-3 weeks they expect the batch to be shipped. I think I saw that response...like last week. I wonder if they get new fake answers on a weekly or bi monthly basis. Either way I am happy for everybody that got theirs and hope the Utah's get shipped soon before I drown myself in my green mormon Jello salad.

I just moved back here after going to school in Hollywood, CA. I can't seem to find a nice midpoint of sanity I guess I like whackos on all sides.
I am actually trying to be patient and I was hunkered down ready for a 2 month wait but seeing some 10/13's get shipped and even some 10/22's ship has got me scratching my head wondering.

I used to live where you are now... how's the flooding?
It ususally takes about 1.5 months to get your ipod. It looks like you've got a case where you'll be waiting for a little while longer. Go read your scriptures to pass the time D.

Well, there is, but it's nothing like what you would find in Vegas, Texas or Florida.

Up north, there is Wyoming, which is an hour from Salt Lake.

Hehehehe, Well thats not all that we are known for. I live in a town thats about an hour from SLC. We see folks come up from utah all the time. The first exit alone has 3 fireworks stores and a large liquor store. You may have heard about the porn shop here. If not you should soon, cbs is doing a story about it.

Been there several times in the last year. Fireworks, booze and porn. he he.
Just have to make sure I spend more than an hour there... sometimes the UHPs wait for you to come back across the border too quickly.

The flooding isnt bad here , the flooding usually just hits a few streets in St. george.
The porn laws aren't bad either I dont care about not getting porn. I mean it is ridiculous seeing as the internet can supply you with enough porn to last a lifetime.

Well, given the current lack of recent shipments, I'm guessing it will be dry for the next couple of days. I hope not, but not much to go on here.
Our CBS affiliate, KUTV, is doing a special tonight on the news about the free ipod deals. I plan to watch it. Tom, do you get KUTV down south?
For now, it's finding something else to do until the next round of shipments.

Our Fox affiliate had a brief "You can get a free iPod and we'll show you how" kinda thing this morning around 723 AM. They interviewed a Utah 16 year old who got his iPod three days ago from today. So they DO ship to Utah!

But it's cool to see that at least someone in Utah is getting their iPods. I wonder what STV date this 16 yr old was. I doubt it was 10/13.

They basically looked into this as "is it possible?" and then interviewed some kid who got his iPod. I forget the kid's name, but it was a short story and they originally showed it during their morning show.

Are they all drinking too much egg nog over at gratis or what? I guess I should see some hope in this maybe but I don't know.

Yeah, the first page won't change. It will always stay at the date you first placed the order for the iPod, which for me was 10/4.
Too much egg nog... hell, I'm going to need some nog just to get through this waiting period.

Good deal. I'm happy they finally recognized us and shipped to all at once.
Another maddening round of alphabetical shipping and I would have gone crazy.
Of course, not as crazy as last Sunday night's snow storm... 10 hrs from Mesquite to Salt Lake... would have been nice to have had the iPod then.

I just checked and it looks like mine is in Salt Lake as well.
Which means I should get it on Monday, since I had mine delivered to work. A day sooner than estimated... this is cool.
