I don't know. That's a good question. I want one of those Dell screens everyone's talking about. I'm not gonna start trading to finish the site until I know what's going on.

im just waiting on a few referrals to go through approval. I don't think i see a difference since last week's choices. Hopefully Jake or someone else can enlighten us on the issue when there is an update to be given.
I am also confused about the philips flatscreen. It says 'integrated tv tuner' but i don't see that on the specs on any of the sites.
That would be sweet if it had that.

Yeah those are the new ones, I think the only one they kept is the Sony tv.

Jake was asking for more suggestions for new TVs on the site, so there may be another update. I'm not positive, but I hope so. It'd be nice to get some type of HD on there, even if they didn't have built in tuners.

If you are willing to go with an off brand
http//www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/detail.asp?dpno=676995
and this would be a cool extra to go with any of the cheaper tv's

Jake - What's the price range we are looking at? I'd really like some kind of real TV (not monitor) added as you originally had 2 choices.

You should add a dell 19" ultra sharp or 20"
And that new Sony monitor sucks compared to the other 5501 ratio is really low end and bad. roll

There should be seperate sites for TV's and Monitors. Man I really wanted that Sony TV. However the TV's shortys408 would do me just fine if I could choose one.

Tube HDs are actually fairly cheap. It's when you start getting in to LCDs and Plasmas that the price shoots up. I sent you a few examples. Also, is the Sony WEGA going to be replaced? I really wanted to get a TV instead of a monitor, so I just wanted to know what the plans are for it.

a big screen site would be awesome

Uh oh... please tell me they are going to put a TV back on there! It's been a while now and I am getting worried. I would be fine with just putting the old WEGA back!
The ViewSonic on the site is an LCD TV. That is the only TV option up there at the moment.
The reason that the Sony WEGA is gone is because the model is being discontinued very soon.
We are also trying to stay away from CRT screens since those are going the way of the dinosaur in favour of LCD and plasma screens. Hence why you don't see any of that sort on the site.

I am going for the 20" lcd tv. But im sure many people would prefer a bigger crt TV than a smaller lcd tv.

I did read it. I agree that CRT isnt the best in the market. Like I said, some people would rather have a bigger CRT then a smaller lcd.

CRT picture is just as good as if not better that LCD or Plasma. Unfortunately they are huge and heavy.

Sorry, I was referring to HDTVs and monitors specifically. I own a Dell fpw2005 20.4" LCD, it's an awesome monitor but the screen is about equal to slightly less sharp than my 19" viewsonic CRT monitor. Unfortunately the CRT is massive (takes a lot of desk space) and weighs a ton.

Yeah but crt monitors hurt your eyes more and are hard to recycle shock
