As always, the question being, is it legit or not?

Their T&C seems more restrictive than most

[quote4c62f8c894]THIS SITE IS CURRENTLY [b4c62f8c894]IN A BETA TEST STAGE [/b4c62f8c894]AND WE DO NOT GAURANTEE THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE A PRODUCT FROM WWW.TECH4FREE.COM, EVEN IF ALL OF THE REQUIRED STEPS ARE COMPLETED IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ABOVE. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO GET YOU YOUR PRODUCT, BUT BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS UNTESTED, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ANYONE THEIR FREE PRODUCT, NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON. [/quote4c62f8c894]

their all-caps, my bolding.

Any site that steals from the main site is obviously a scam. This site is obviously stolen from OfferCentric's name, idea, and design. I wouldn't trust it...

What is it stealing? I signed up already and its seems really legit. I got a conga going and everything so I know the links are working fine.

just because the links work fine doesn't make it legit. To make it legit they have to actually send you the product you earn.

I think I'll give it a try. I mean, it looks better to me than freesuperstuff with its timer, changing referral links, disappearing offers, free offers without cc that require you pay with cc...

I'll keep you posted. If other volunteers want to try it with me, please PM.

"Really legit?" It's been live for 3 days. It's likely "really legit" in your eyes because you have a Conga going and want people to sign up for you.

Moreover, how are you going to choose when to move to the next person, after they have 5, 6, 7, or 8 referrals? Let me guess, you're first on the list and you'll get 8 and everyone else can fend for themselves.

I looked into freesuperstuff a little bit last night. The end of the referral link changes, but there's a 6 digit number that stays the same. The end portion may be a location check or something else. As I've written somewhere else, I'm just as skeptical about these new companies as anybody, but them taking down offers that weren't "free" or no CC like they said they were seems at least a little legitimate. That they now only have CC offers makes it harder for people like us (people who know this business model inside and out) to get our free stuff, but if you sign up for a trial, you can always cancel it. That's why an AOL offer is always nice to see.

As for this site, here's a post from the originator
[quote212f40d700]Please send questions like this over email. I don't need a lesson in business ethics from some guy named peanuthead over a forum. Why are you so concerned about the freaking spell checking. If I spell something wrong, you will still get your free gift. Everyone on this forum knows how these systems work. Its like a second language to them. This business is nothing new. I will get people their free gift as soon as I can.[/quote212f40d700]

For all of these sites you need capital - lots of it. Gratis was successful because they had capital from their point based sites. I'm curious to see whether other sites have the money to "put up" initially, or whether they all plan to wait on their checks. Because if they do, they're going to be sorry when the checks aren't 1) as big as they hope 2) not covering the cost of paying out.

the owner jeff stated from the first day that he would send his sounddocks out after 11/20 when he got his first affiliate cheque. the whoel process he's been open, honest and on top of the game.

he also has a deal that if you get an extra referral, you can order any electronic valued at $300. one person (FLiP on GL) ordered an iPod and already received it.

he posts regularly on GL (as does tcoop & jw of tech4free -- and as as late last night offercentric customer support does as well) and seems very very legit. i guess we'll know 100% on or around 11/20. but i'm not even worried.

cheers.
