We are sorry to announce these tragic events, but with the recent unexpected retirement of our President and Vice President, we have been forced to shut down Gratis Internet, and it's subdivision Freepay. Sorry, it wasn't obvious to some people.
I was just kidding around. Freepay hasn't run off, but if they did, it would be perfect timing, heh, got ps3 and xbox360 money.
They aren't going anywhere though. Everybody has server issues at one time or another.

Berky34

21-01-2006 15:25:19

yeah but why do they have to have server issues when my ps3 link is on fipg's home page?

Gigante

The thing is, unless someone in Web Dev @ FreePay checks the sites, no one there will know its down until Monday morning.... (

You would think they would have someone that would check it during off-hours with their # of employees. Even if not Web Dev, you think they should be able to alert the appropriate people.

It would just be my luck that they would close the doors now. after all the time I spent getting people to sign up, I got my 5th and today is day 7 of the 7-10 day approval waiting period. I really hope they fire it back up soon and they did not lose anything (data) when this problem happened. At first, i thought it was my employer locking me out of the site, at least now i know its not just me lol

HOLY FUCKING SHIT! You scared the hell out of me. I have been trying to get into the digital cameras web site where I have 9/10, about to have 10/10 and then I came here to see if anyone else was having problems. I read that and my heart seriously stopped. Thank God that was a joke. I would have lossed it.

i have to admit that was pretty clever, you had me fooled. plus I had a laugh at the ppl who thought it was real only to realize later that it wasn't. lol wink + karma

turpentinedreams

what probably happened is the sql server got flooded (clearly as the error states) and when it crashes it needs a manual reboot.

happens to my site all the time
