im hearing 2 things about shipping....
1. they ship by order number - which clearly isnt the case.
2. they ship by region.. i live in new jersey, has anyone recently recieved one from nj, or other north east places? im stv 10-22

I'm NJ. 10/22. Still STV. If you talk to Fedex about how they do things in general, they will confirm that it's definitely regional. Since iPods have no set arrival date, they hitchhike with other packages going their general direction.

I have a shipping theory FedEx is staffed by a bunch of MORONS! They sent mine to completely the wrong fucking address. I called them and tracked it down, turns out they sent it to a hospital, so I have to go in there tomorrow morning to get it, if they haven't noticed it wasn't for them and sent it back to FedEx again....But hey, free ipod!

Give up, there's no order to it.
Maybe they ship randomly on purpose so they can always have people saying that they got theirs quickly in various parts of the country.
Then there are the rest of us who wait and complain.
