Why did he take it down? He could have just as easily listed just the cities and not given out tracking numbers.

THe list isnt even needed anymore as everyone has their tracking numbers.

What he was doing was technically a violation of the UPS TOS for tracking number use. If he continued he could have risked getting into some serious trouble from UPS, especially if someone's order got rerouted for some unknown reason...he would be more likely to be blamed.
