That's what I've always wondered...

Did you invite them? If so, and they then used another persons link, or went directly to the main site, then they would show up as "User did not join via referral link"

"Joined but offer not completed" is self-explanatory.

This happens when someone visits the site via your link, but chooses not to join at that time. They then revisit the site and join. Freepay does not consider this a referral.

So, when that person happens to sign up using a new referral link, the new person gets the green, or do neither? I always wondered about that.

Additionally, is the fact he gets a grey ref mean that the persons IP was recorded during their visit with his link, or is it a cookie that was created, storing the info?

i'm guessing cookie but i have no idea
i'm sure their IP is logged too

If it's just a cookie, then telling someone to delete the particular cookie manually is a good idea before having them sign up for you.

If IP, then you'd be screwed anyway. )
