Hey, I just sent this email to Gratis.

Please explain this madness, and if it is not justifiable, please ship the remaining people who have gone "sent to vendor" on 10/22/04.

Yes, companies do typically reply faster to an angry customer.. but only when the customer is giving them money. They've got the money for your iPod already. What are you going to do, take your business elsewhere?

what you can do however, is start telling people that if they want to get an ipod (or a photo ipod) for free, at this point they'd better go with OfferCentric whose support is (so far) fast, understanding and helpful.

Heh, well, get this people. I was a 10/13, but realized I put in the wrong address. I emailed em, they cancelled my order, and I reorder, and now I'm a 10/22. Mostly my fault though. But I've waited just as long as you 10/13's

I don't understand why people are getting upset that he sent an email like that. If will probably do nothing for his order but there's always a possibility after so many email like that they'll get their slilili together especially with competition coming out. Just because someone waited 2 months 5 days 43 minutes and 24 seconds doesn't mean everyone else has to wait that long or you aren't allowed to complain until you reach that point. That is great some of you got your iPods however you should know very well the position shooby is in having to wait to finally get it. Not to mention that people who ordered after are getting theirs first. That has to be really frusterating for all 10/22's and especially 10/13's

agreed. Personally I don't think that guy/gal even complained that much. The way I look at it this is a business transaction. Both parties get something out of it. We work hard and bring business TO them and make them money and they give us an iPod. It's just frusterating I'm sure when you complete your side of the bargain and they are a little slow to do theirs. I don't think it's so much complaining as it is being excited and wanting more info. And we're doing them just as much of a favor if not more than they're doing us

If you put in an order at newegg and it didn't ship and you couldn't even get ahold of the company to get an estimated ship date, I bet my bottom dollar that you would be pretty pissed off.

They should at least offer webcertificates for $priceofipod+ship so we can order them ourselves. EVERYONE has them in stock.

Im giddy about mp3players4free and i dont even have mines yet. Just becuz they answered an email at 4pm that i sent at 8 pm. Not bad. OfferCentric is definitely getting slower now to give credit, review accounts, place orders, etc and it seems only normal since they're getting more popular. However, I must say that from my recent personal experience, their support remains very good, often personalized, and in general fast. I think if you have any headache to go through it's that of getting referrals.
