I know this sounds really stupid, but I got approved on DesktopPC (Cyberpower Xplorer), and would they allow you to take out the "Windows XP Home Edition" and perhaps just bump up the video card a notch? It would save them about 50 bucks in the end, but I really don't need the software....
I know it's probably a stupid question with an obvious answer, just thought I would ask you guys.

I figured. It's a shame Windows XP has gotta take up $100 in that total!!!!!!! Oh well maybe I could sell it on ebay if it's not preloaded....(which it probably will be)

It will be, but you'll also get an OEM XP disc that's sealed. (might be slit to insert the additional driver discs too)

Yeah, why wouldn't it be preloaded.

Yeah it's pre-loaded but you also get an OEM disc labelled as a Recovery Disc or something like that so you legally won't be allowed to sell it.

I'm pretty sure that I only got 1 XP disc. I got a drivers disc and an XP disc.

Right, that's what I said 1 OEM XP disc, and 1 Drivers (Recovery) disc.

Well, you [i74e6daaa8d]could[/i74e6daaa8d] sell the XP disc somewhere, although it's illegal to do so. I don't think anyone would want a new OEM XP Home disc anyway though.
