You don't need to be 18 to fill out a W9?? Thank you so much for that information.

28-12-2005 08:57:55
Well, my friends all fill out tax papers who are 16-17 since they work.
However, I was reading rules/contests for other giveaways that say there is no age limit, yet if you are under 18 you must have a parent/guardian fill out your W9.

You have to be at least 13.
So when shamash gets his W9 form, he could try contacting Jake and telling him that he can't fill it out because he's underage. ;)

Filled out the W9 form in about 2 minutes(including printing time to sign it). It doesn't even ask for Date of Birth.

I dont think you can be 13 and do offers tho. I know in the state of NY a minor can't enter into a contract which is essentially what most of these offers are.
I think Cali has the same law, i'm pretty sure it's nationwide but I am not positive on the age.
