They're 0.9kgs I believe. Didn't FedEx handle them before? UPS must use pounds?

we live in the US... we dont like being the same as other countries thats why we dont use the Meteric system... even though 90% of the world does...

standard > meteric

I live in the US. I prefer metric though. It is much easier. I guess that's because I deal with science and everything is in SI units.

I like how we Americans have the balls to call our system of measurement 'standard' when we're the only ones that use it.

Even worse, standard is just an adopted name

The real term for this system is ENGLISH system, which further proves America is a bit behind or too stubborn to acknowledge that world is running on a better system metric.

On a side note, even the English don't use the English system anymore.....hmmm.....

Has nothing to do with acknowledgment..........you try changing a system that 2 billion people understand and use.........It's impossible. Go to the grocery store and try explaining to the stubborn old people in this country that 1 lb of cheese is not more than .5kg........they are stupid and it's too late. The only cure would be to start implementing the metric as standard in our schools so that the younger crowd can start using metric.

crow216, I think you might be a little confused. 1lb=2.2kg

so, 1lb of cheese would be 2.2kg of cheese. I think you are thinking backwards. 1kg of cheese would be .45lb

Sorry crow, my bad

[quote43b695430f]thats why we dont use the [b43b695430f]Meteric[/b43b695430f] system[/quote43b695430f]

and why is it you don't use orthograph either?

[quote43b695430f]crow216, I think you might be a little confused. 1lb=2.2kg[/quote43b695430f]

actually, crow216 is not the one who's confused, he's completely right and 1lb=0.45kg

uhhh....Kg's are always gonna be less than Pounds =/

1Kg=2.2Lbs and that's the bottom line
