i went IP3 on 8/24 for the Apple IPod and of course I'm still "Waiting on product"... I missed the swtich to the hPod when it was first available and now I'm not sure if i should switch or just hang in there. i really dont care which one i get I just want it ASAP.
however I think that now that a lot of people switched to the hpod (from what i gather) it may be better to just stick with my Apple order.
I am also not quite sure how the whole things works are there two separate "queues", one for the apple and one for the hp, and if i switch to hpod do i get placed at the end of the hpod queue, even after those who went IP3 after me and switched before me? or do i get placed in the by the people who went IP3 when I did and swtiched to the hpod?
i'm sure no one can know what will happen for sure but if anyones got any ideas please share them... thanks!

thanks mig. thas what i want to find out, if it would ship faster...
i hesitate to switch because i think i might be near the front of the apple queue and i will ship soon, and that it may even take longer for me to get the hp if i was placed at the end (since a lot of people have already switched).
i dont think your towards the front, some 8/6's still havent been shipped... and if you switch they will send you wht becomes avalable first, so you dont loose your place in line for the regular ipod if you switch

yup, should have it soon though, i switched about 4 or 5 hours after the option to switch was first avalable

yeah... i ordered mine on 8/6/04.
i've waited this long, i guess i don't really mind waiting longer, as long as the sucka comes.
