there is a way you can do a search for UPS tracking numbers from ecost but you have to have a base starting point. the numbers before the X's are static so your base number would be those 4. then search from there...

i just get the package information followed by "Package data transmitted to FedEx; package not in FedEx possession"
I figured Gratis hasnt given my package to FedEx yet and all they did when they changed my status to "shipped" was to send FedEx the package info electronically...
hope the package starts to move =)
Estimated arrival date is 11/10 so it SHOULD be on its way...

i called FedEx becuase my tracking number was incorrect...the nice lady said it was shipped by Apple in Sacramento, CA
wish i had used my school address instead of my home...now i have to wait for it to travel halfway down CA instead of an hours drive to berkeley...heeheh
