To delete all the songs on your iPod I think you just clear your iTunes Library list and hook up the iPod.
Is that correct? I'd like to clear out my iPod too.

Or you can go to Apple's website and download the software updater and it has an option to reformat your iPod.

iTunes sucks more than a prostitute on a good night in Vegas.
You can use the iPod Updater Utility (from the CD that came with your iPod/hPot) to reformat the iPod entirely. This is better than just deleting songs via iTunes or a similar app, as it will also repair any possibly corruptions in the iPod software or database.
