It's like friendster, or Tribe....social networking...
It's built around communities of similair interests, and you can start cross referencing communities to find new friends and such, plus it has a whole dating/crush system, and a messanging system..it's pretty complete, and it's very exclusive right now, invite only, and it may alsways be that way, so no one can sign up unless they know someone who already is...if you a fan of Google services, like gmail, then you'll like orkut...
