I did a freepay offer for someone who turned out to be a scammer, and I would like for him to lose the green I got for him. Apparently TRAINN will do this, but what about Freepay? Any idea how to go about requestion revocation of a green?

Thanks,

jb

I asked and he said they would but it will probably get your other FreePay accounts put on hold.

Ok, I found what they said, here's exactly what they said

[quote1fbd9c13c9]Me Hello, I traded referrals a while back (he signed up for your flatscreens site, I signed up here at the XBOX 360 site) and that referral has been rejected. I have heard now that he is an offer frauder, and I was wondering if you can reject my offer too, I don't want him to get credit while I get jipped out of it. Thank you!

FreePay After review, your account is fine. No need to worry if you do not violate our terms and conditons. You will be eligible to receive a free item if you complete our requirements. Thank you for contacting us.

Me, after opening another I think you misunderstood my last post in the customer service. I traded referrals with this guy, who is now showing up as not approved. Since he is scamming me out of a referral, I WANT my offer rejected so he doesn't get credit for a referral he scammed me out of. Please reject my offer, just say it was fraudulent or something.

FreePay If I put your account on hold, you will no longer be able to use this site. You will not be able to create another account on this site and it is possible that any other accounts across our network will also be placed on hold. Are you sure that you want to do this? I recommend that you demand payment from your referrer for cheating you instead of holding this account. Since his account is on hold and will not be removed, he does not stand to gain from you not being placed on hold.[/quote1fbd9c13c9]

yeah, his account is on hold so he's not getting anything anyways... go on about your referral-business

Fine, but in my case this scammer never greened for me at all and never will, even though I greened for him. I would love to be able to take back that green somehow.

And did you know that it's apparently impossible to get TR here if you did business with a scammer? Not only has the scammer cheated you out of a green, he's cheated you out of a TR point that you deserve for holding up your end of the deal.

Yeah, I've brought that up before; sucks but little can be done.

Geez, how many chips do you have on your shoulder?

It's not "apparently impossible to get TR here if you did business with a scammer" we just don't allow it. If I wanted to I could give you the TR for it right now, but as I explained and have explained before, the only way for us to know if both parties have greened is by them bothing Requesting TR. That's what it's for.

If we just go by what someone says "I really did green for him honest" and gave TR like that, do you realise how many people would be walking around with inflated TR's that they shouldn't have?

TR isn't that useful after a certain point. \ At my TR, Im either alot higher than the person I am trading with or alot lower.

By that logic, you'd also have no way to know whether to ban scammers.

Just sign up a bunch of accounts under his link. Make them all similar emails / info. They will grey em all out lol.

I don't see what "taking away the green" accomplishes? His account is dead. So ALL his greens are taken away... I don't see what else you want...

jb[/quote7688081da8]

I know whether or not to ban scammers because........well because I know whether I am going to ban them or not.

I think what you mean to say is

"By that logic, you'd also have no way to be 100% sure that someone is a scammer or not"

It makes more sense to me anyway. Scammers are a different story. You can speak to site owners as to whether or not someone has greened or why someone has been DQ'ed etc.

[quote7688081da8="Airkat"]I don't see what "taking away the green" accomplishes? His account is dead. So ALL his greens are taken away... I don't see what else you want...[/quote7688081da8]

In this case it doesn't as his account(s) are on hold anyway, but for someone whose accounts are fine, then it stops that person receiving their gift.

right theysayjump,

I got that done for brunstar. but in this case, as you said, his account is on hold. So what does the OP want now?

I'm the OP. My scammer's account is NOT on hold, as far as I know. I think you're confusing me with someone else who posted about their own experience with this issue.
