And that is the kind of conga you want to stay away from, folks. Because when this conga gets "old" the person who started it will bail out and all the people who were referred will be out of luck. Go for one where the person that started it will continue to support it so EVERYONE can get their iPods.

ok now since we're talking about congas-- i'll say the one i joined is really GREAT. i mean not only is it moving fast but there's proof that the person who started and organizes it just doesn't up and leave when he's done with his referrals. on the conga for mp3players4free.com 7 people have gotten their 5 referrals(since [b76f6f3efef]October 23[/b76f6f3efef]) and it's STILL moving-- i'm pretty sure his conga for freephotoipods.com will be as well run as that one.

I would agree- a well managed conga is very important. It sucks to be on the receiving end of a conga that magically disappears when the first few people in the conga have completed their offers. I have been there recently-and will not go back.

OMG this has gotten bad. If not blatent link post, then every other person is just posting to PM them for their link lol. Guys, if you want to join a conga research them first and be sure they look like they will be around for a while.
The only ones posted that I have actually checked out were 10ths and they seem well run and he seems like a good guy....and no I am not one of his conga members trying to get more people to him (I have my own good congas that are running very smoothly) lol) but that is my honest throughts on his work so far. I don't know about the others but the ones that pop up and say "there are only 2 people on my congas" scare me.
Find a site that has taken time to put up. One good sign that it plans to stick around even after the admin gets his referrals. I personally use 2 domains, 1 for the congas/news/support and another that is used as an info site for the genral public which uses the links directly from the congas. That is the one that I PAY for advertising for so it does get traffic. It also helps the conga out because some of the people who join using the links on the homepage don't always enter the forums as request to be added to the conga...so the conga moves but the line doesn't grow ;).
I think it is better if the people looking for congas ask to be PM'ed rather than all the people with congas telling everyone to PM them...it looks a LOT LESS spammy. lol the last three pages of this thread are all conga owners trying to recruit people. Someone needs to come up with a conga review site lol.

the problem with most conga lines is that once the guy at the head of the line gets his referrals, it may take a few days to show the offers were completed. this makes the guy at the head of the line continue to get referrals when he dosen't need anymore. that makes for wasted referrals. the only place i have found that works around this inherent conga flaw is the one i joined. they hold their lineleaders when it looks like they have enough to be complete, and let others get the referrals they need. pm me ill send you a link

well, I've definitely stopped promoting here, members of my congas seem to do it very well for me. Anyway, this is working so well that I can now just pop up here, check my PMs and send the link to the number of people I need to get in. This way the conga keeps moving and I waste a very minimal number of referrals.
Again, I'm not trying to promote since I'm not even answering all PMs right away, I'm just trying to give good tips to others running congas here.

My conga lines have always been great. I've been doing it a while so you know i'm not in it for just myself. But other than just conga lines, I have good discussion forums at my site. Even if you're signed up and registered for all of the offers already I'd appreciate it if you'd at least check it out and maybe contribute some posts to the online community. please be advised that OfferCentric has now put the photo iPod on its pvps4free deal. It's basically the same deal as freephotoipods.com except that you can also choose from 4 other players. What matters here is that conga lines for the pvps4free deal are [bee25b8f881]much[/bee25b8f881] shorter than those for the freephotoipods deal. Now, you need to search for these other congas, but it's always the same thing you must ask the right people for that.
Hopefully, this info will help clearing up the Gratis section of this forum...

Many have asked if they could offer the iphoto since it came out and now they got it up ). The main reason it is on the pvp site (rather than the mp3 one) is price. The price of the iphoto is a lot closer to the pvps.
Supposedly they are also adding some other mp3 brands to the mp3 site so that is kind of cool...although I already got my iriver /. One of those new sony mp3 players would have been nice heheh.

Each time basically saying how great your conga is and offering to PM the link. If your conga is so great, which it very well may be, then why are you promoting it here? A good website gets it's own traffic CONGAS INCLUDED! You should stop breaking the rules so damn much and worry about getting traffic to your site the propper way.
Try submitting it to search engines, I haven't had your site show up in ANY pages on google, even when I search for it by name. Did you even bother to submit it? Get links to it put on as many places as possible so your page rank goes up. My point is, this site is not a place to get WeBTraffic. They have worked hard to promote their site and you should at least have enough respect for that to not break their rules so much.

1st person in line has there link shown. People who hasn't signed up yet joins. They complete an offer and once the first person in line is completed the line moves up.

heheh jk, well not jk but thought it was funny. As I have stated before, I have seen how 10th runs his and it seems well done. I am not a member so can't really say but if I didn't have my own congas I would join his first.
I have also been to Mr Sofas a few times and they seem pretty nice too.
The main point is that you should visit all of them and check all of them on a regular basis if you want the best info. If you are really into this free stuff then you need to keep up with the news and you will usually find a little here and a little there and such. After you have spent some time checking them all out and seeing how they run their current congas, you can make a choice on which one you want to use for your future congas. But the trick is use which ever you can get on the quickest/highest position ;) (of course that only goes for the well known established congas with more than 30 or so members...it does no good to get #2 on some silly kids temp site ;)).

I agree 100% with this. At some point I had tried to talk to other congas admins to create some sort of collaboration so that we could try and send people who are interested in joining to the shortest conga. But it seems like no one was interested or that everyone thought their congas were better than mine and didn't need any help. Given this lack of enthusiasm I had decided to go on my own, and I'm happy it worked out well after all.
Point is yes have a look around before choosing. I wish we could have done some sort of ring to always direct you to the best one but the idea seemed only appealing to me.

yeah "my crew" is kind of unruly, they've been getting excited very easily lately )
