i signed up for the ancestry offer. It saids after 2weeks you have to pay like $200. On my account it said Registered Guest. Do i still need to unsubscribe if i don't want to pay $200

you need to call them and get a confirmation number. goto Help on their site, and search for 'cancel'

Can't you just deactivate you credit card, if you don't need it any more. Is it possible to get be charged for something once you've closed your credit card number?

Just call & cancel, it's really easy, & you dont have to deactivate your CC.
Of course, only cancel if your not interested anymore...... lol
