A Pattern?

It seems, that up until the introduction of the hPod as an available option, Gratis and their iPod suppliers had at least some kind of pattern going with receiving the item and shipping it to the FreeIpod customers...Totally on accident, but a pattern nonetheless. I don't know if the "switch time" to hPod really matters, because the "if available" context seems to suggest that Gratis orders in bulk both the iPod/hPod and just go down the list. That seems to have nothing to do with sending in individual orders to suppliers (that would easily overrun their systems with orders).

What it seems like, is there has to be some sort of a pattern. I mean, a time period between 8/4s and 8/6s shipping...could be close to the next ship time? Or something like that...Now that eCost has full restock of Apple iPods, the backorder shouldn't be a problem. Any ideas? Anything anyone has noticed?

Oh i read it again reeeeaaaalll slow and got what u tried to say. You're right that they could just order both and go down the list, but how would u explain that ppl from 8/6 haven't received anything, while someone from 9/10 who switched did?
