Hey all,
Just jumped on this freepay bandwagon. Good to see a big community round here.
My query is about international users and Freepay's policy to them. Basically, are the ipods/cameras shipped from the UK or is it all based in the US? Cos, a potential problem (if I'm successful to getting approved that is!) is with Customs. There is likely to be a hefty charge especially for an iPod or Digital Camera. Or are we excluded as we haven't really paid for it anyway?
Also, who deals with all the queries from UK users? Or is this all based in the main office in the US?

it would most likely be shipped from within the UK, for my Ipod Nano it was shipped from within canada so no customs fees.

Yeah hopefully it will be sent out from within the UK, i've just ordered an ipod video from freepay so when it gets delivered i can tell you. Or they may send from the US and mark it as 'gift' because i don't think you pay taxes then.

Freepay ordered my camera from amazon.co.uk, my ipod was shipped from a uk supplier too, so you dont need to pay customs.

yeah freepay garuntees free shipping and handling as far as i'm concerned
It gets sent from the UK.
Remember, the electrical infrastructure in Europe is different than that of North America so the iPods would have to come from your side of the ocean (after they get made in China of course).

I'm halfway through my 10 referrals needed for digitalcameras.freepay.com
The thing is, the camera which I chosen (The Canon IXUS 700 aka SD500) is actually discontinued and has been replaced by the IXUS 750 (aka SD550).
Hyperthetically If I was to be approved, would the I get the 700 or the 750?

I was informed that they would update it. But being me I ordered the canon ixus 700 anyways, so it is processing, Im sure when it goes to stv though they'll have bought the 750 as amazon dont sell the 700 anymore! P

thanks racerace1, the 750 has a 2.5" screen! - I best not get too excited tho' - I'll concentrate on the referrals first D

A lot of my friends are waiting on me - to see whether all this freeipod stuff is genuine or not....I really hope I can show them up ;) - I'll take some pics of their distraught D

Outta interest, are we restricted to the five models shown? I understand that the cameras are ordered through a separate supplier (e.g. Amazon) - so is it possible to choose a camera with the equivalent price?
