HP or Apple

If time is not a problem, i would want an Apple(although i don't particularly like the company). But since time IS a problem, i stick with HP...or whichever ships out sooner lol

I'd rather an apple, just because the hps are supposed to have different hard drives. I used to work on hp computers, they seem to get the worst parts that they can find so I'm kinda skeptical about them. Then again I ordered a HP ipod, screw waiting the extra time, I'm way too impatient.

I pick HP because as of today I OWN an HP. HP + Anapod Explorer = MP3 <3.

That's my hot tip for anyone who sees it. Don't use iTunes. iTunes is of the devil. If you really want to know why I'll post about it tomorrow.

Apple, without a doubt. Every HP/Compaq product I've owned has been a piece of crap (PDA, Printer, and Scanner, most notably).

Gratis wouldn't offer you the option of switching to hPod if it didn't somehow benefit them when people switched. I'd hasten a guess that they get a steeper discount on hPods (Apple is notorious for being incredibly strict about the prices retailers charge for their products), so, in exchange for a possible earlier ship date, you're probably putting a little extra money back in Gratis' pocket. As I typically abhor companies that specialize in internet marketing/advertising/etc, I'd rather not let them off the hook. That's probably looking too deep into things, but hey, as long as I get my iPod by Xmas (I'm going to give it as a gift), I'll be happy.

They don't manufacture a lot of the stuff they make.

I know. What I meant was the Apple still manufactures the HP iPods, so they are NO different than an Apple iPod other than the fact that the HP iPod has an HP logo on the back. That is the ONLY difference. Everything else (including the HD) is the same.
