There are some offers that I've taken that have resulted in a continuation of my service; while others don't meet my needs. I have read about some companies that are difficult to reach to cancel w/in the designated "trial" period.
Isn't it 100% legal to send a certified letter to the company to cancel? I think a certified letter tumps email or even a phone call, since it is in writing and you can prove that it was delivered.

Read about which companies are difficult to deal with and avoid them if necessary.
I don't see why a certified letter wouldn't work.
