My friend just signed up as "name"@hotmail.com but he really didnt have hotmail so he signed up again at "name"@yahoo.com is this a problem?

No, might just email support and tell them that you're no longer using the hotmail account though.

no, it won't be a problem at all. i doubt they'd take the time to remove an account that's not gonna be used .. look at how many yellows we all have as it is. too many to go thru
