Is it just me...or is FreeiPods.com (Gratis) a bit fishy?

I'm having problems with my account. I know for a fact that 3 people signed up and completed offers under my link. One was at work, I sent the email with the link to the person and watched them complete the Ancestry.com offer. It shows on their end that it was completed. Another was a friend of mine who did the Netscape offer and completed it.

Neither of these people even show up under my status when I log into the account. I understand they can take a little bit of time to show as completed...but shouldn't I at least see that these people signed up under my referral?

Also...a girl I know signed up for FreeFlatScreens.com. She completed her offer and a friend of hers completed another one under her referral.
Under her status...it showed that she completed her (1) requirement and that she had (1) friend complete an offer. This was yesterday.

Today...she logged into her account and everything is gone. It shows she still needs to to complete her offer and it doesn't show her friend every showed up.

What exactly is going on here? I understand some people are receiving their iPods...but I don't know, almost seems like the system is selective. People are signing up for these offers and Gratis is not giving them credit for them (convenient for them I'm sure).

Ive had similar problems when i was doing mine... i actually probably got closer to 8 refferals before i had the 5 greens i needed...

I suppose they just have kinks in the system that are conveniant for them to just ignore...

I didn't have any problems. All of my people showed up. As far as I know, all of their offers posted.
But I don't have my iPod in hand yet, so I'm not saying all is hunky dory until it shows up.

I got two emails from Gratis...both basically a copy and paste of their Term and Conditions found on their website.

Wooooow! Very helpful.

No advice or insight from anyone?

Anyone else thinking some people get thru (enough to make this seem legit and get good reviews) while others seem to have "glitches" and even though they sign up and complete offers, never get anything?

Hmm...wonder if they will answer questions via the phone?

I think that if what happened to you was happening as some sort of scheme, we'd be hearing a lot more about it. As of yet, I still haven't seen anything scathing or inflammatory about Gratis.
But it is possible.

BTW, I noticed that if "Block pop-ups" is turned on in my browser, it messes up with the offers. Could this be part of the problem?

Count on what? Them helping via the phone?

I don't see why not...unless of course, there is something sketchy going on. Not like they have something to hide, right?

Well HX_Guy what you don't realize is that there are most likely thousands of people having problems with Gratis offers. Everywhere from people who are legitimately having problems, people who are on hold who don't think they should be on hold, people who want shipping updates, people who are impatient.

If they took phone calls they would never get any work done and would have to hire staff to field these phone calls but being a small company they just don't have the staff to do that.

They don't have anything to hide, per say, but they can't just take open phone calls.

Yah i got about 8 referrals before my 5 actually showed up. I waited on my fifth for over two weeks and he never showed as completed, even when he repeatedly emailed gratis and did more than one offer to try and get the credit. Eventually I gave up on him and had someone else do an offer, which went thru the very next day.
No clue how all that works, but it's over and i'm waiting to be shipped now

Did your people at least show up under your status as signing up? Because mine are not even showing as ever signing up.

are you sure they used your referral link when they signed up?

Fugger

The system does work. If you are having problems you should probably check your referral address that you are giving out to others. You could be helping someone else earn their free iPod.
