Just get a PVP if you really need to look at pictures. Those things can play movies too...

Comparing any other player to an iPod just doesn't hold water. After using the interface, I now fully see why this thing is as popular as it is. The other players just can't compare.
That said, I don't see the point in the photo iPod right now. Is this really needed? Is there a practical use for it?
The regular iPod is so successful because it functions so well as a music player. I don't need it to do anything else. Adding photos just isn't very logical unless it's a jump to a video player. Personally, I'm just not that impressed.
Now the black and red U2 iPod - that looks cool.
