How long does Blockbuster usually take to credit? And is it faster than Columbia House?

My experience with blockbuster crediting has been 7 to 10 days from signup. But, it does seem forever.
A friend of mine signed up on 09/11/05 and I received credit on 09/19/05.
I have not completed the Columbia house offer.

Blah, this is ridiculous. Are there any faster crediting offers? I'm waiting on my final green before requesting approval, and 13 days in the trade so far + the possibility of 10 more is getting on my nerves.
Is RealRhapsody better

yes rhapsody is better!
i have done rhapsody and i just did blockbuster.
well rhapsody was perfect and blockbuster, i still haven't received credit
supposedly its good for most people, but i just would like to say this
i used IE 6 and my cookies were enabled, i've done offers before and i know what to avoid but yet still i wasn't credited
I did blockbuster. They sent me my first movies in a couple of days, returned them, and got credit a day after. Probably got credited 5 6 days after signing up.

For blockbuster, do you actually have to get some movies or can you just cancel without getting any?

You're supposed to try out the offer. No talking of cancellation, and read the rules.

I read the rules and the requirements dont say anything about actually getting movies delivered.

While I'm no expert upon it, I guess I don't see why not.
But, it's kinda stupid to pay $9.99 for something that has free shipping and handling -- even a free return-envelope -- and not try it out ...
You just have to be organized, and make sure to keep track fo the DVDs.

The friend who I paid to sign up doesn't want to use it and they asked if I could change the shipping address to my house and if I would use their blockbuster trial. Will Freepay find this out and hold my account?
