I was never asked to complete the survey when I first signed up; it went straight to the "complete offer" page. I also was not asked for my address or any other information beyond my email address. I don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that I never received a verification email, although when I sent them a question about a verification problem, my account was immediately verified. Is this going to be a problem in the future? I'm not sure if I can complete an offer until I figure this out, just to be safe. (I have been using internet explorer 6 and have enabled cookies.)

no it just means you didn't sign up that time... you must've signed up awhile ago and forgotten about it....
it'll only be a problem if you thought you were signing up under a conga or for someone specifically.

well, I know I didn't sign up earlier...maybe I just hit submit too many times or something. But, are you normally asked for address info. when you sign up, or do you do that when you're ready to have the ipod shipped? Because, I haven't given any of that info yet.

The survey is optional. If you didnt do it, its not a problem.

When you complete your requirements and finally order your iPod it will ask you to enter in your name and address again.
