STV 8/31 Shipped from CA?

hi guys,

sorry to those who were before me and havent shipped yet.

my apple ipod package weight is 2.1lb and it looks to be coming from sacramento, CA. (this happened on october 22nd).

is there a warehouse in CA or have they just omitted that its coming from china?

No... just because he's that date does not mean he gets sent from eCost. I was 8/16 and just got shipped this past Thursday and mine is from China.

ecost isn't in ca anyways, its memphis, tn.

Mine was shipped from CA as well, with the reference number being 822583

HOLY SHitzer, i just noticed that thats 2.1 Pounds, not Kg , wow thats really heavey, it cant be an ipod, it just cant be, even if they change the packaging, thats one big weight diffrence...

I'm in college and I didn't know that. oops

Apple is headquartered in Elk Grove, Ca. right next to Sac.

eCost is located in Southern California, and has about 20 warehouses all over the US.
The iPod's were shipping from Memphis because this was the closest warehouse to the purchaser (Gratis in D.C.) and that is how eCost operates- they didn't use all the different warehouses because that would be a logistical nightmare.

i'm in the same situation, STV 9/1 and got shipped from sacramento. i posted about it on saturday and got a whole bunch of "it's not your ipod" crap.

my reference numbers are similar but not identical. so it looks like there isn't a specific code people can use in fedex to find packages for whoever is shipping them.

who cares though, we've got ipods on the way!
