is it just that someone installed a .exeurl==http://=http:///url that was the hack, and someone got their password?
or can the keylogger get on your system like a virus or trojan, withougt you knowing?
some idiot posted topics with titles like "IT FINALLY CAME!! PICZ INSIDEE" with a link to an EXE file keylogger... you had to click on it to get it i think. But I must say, whoever clicked on it isn't very smart...

I downloaded it any was semi not-paying-attention and I extracted the file I clicked it. ( I got rid of it though.. oops

I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm just having trouble seeing how that can happen. Somebody links to an exe file, people click on it, download the exe, and then open it on their computers...
Why?
I can understand if it's an exe that's labeled as a different program or something, but it sounds like the link was just labeled as some picture files. So um... yeah maybe someone can explain this to me.

The only way I can see falling for that okey-doke is if you have never viewed a digital picture on a computer. Because then you would have been looking for a .jpg,url==http://=http:///url .gif,url==http://=http:///url .bmp,url==http://=http:///url .psd,url==http://=http:///url or something. Not a .exe..url==http://=http:///url

ah nvm i found it its some virus that monitors what u do on ur comp or something. i got rid of it with adaware >D
