Alright, I think I might have discovered a slight flaw in the system, and all that sort of jazz.
Say my e-mail is email==celegur@gmail.comcelegur@gmail.com=celegur@gmail.comcelegur@gmail.com/email (it's not, mind you) When I sign up for the Gratis Network/Freepay sites, I use celegur+free@gmail.com -- this allows me to set up a filter in gmail so that it automatically applies a 'Freepay' label to anything that is sent to the +free address. It's just handy for organization.
Now, I signed up for the video-professor the other day, right? Well, they don't allow the + appendage ... so what I did was sign up as email==cel.egur@gmail.comcel.egur@gmail.com=cel.egur@gmail.comcel.egur@gmail.com/email -- again, same concept.
Unfortunately, I havn't received credit. It's an instant-credit offer.
Should I send another note to customer service explaining it? There's no /technical/ difference between the e-mails, as all e-mails sent to either get to my account, but there are /semantical/ differences. Hopefully, I won't get punished for being organized =/
Bah.
Anyone else run into this?

Cookies! Yum.
Hmm. I guess 5 days is kinda 'instant' compared to 15 days for the other one =) Thanks.

See ... that's kinda where my question came in, Jake. )
I'm using the same e-mail address, it just has a few other semantical differences.
Example
celegur+lookatthis@gmail.com, celegur+hahaha@gmail.com, celegur+FreepayIsSwesome@gmail.com, celegur+yadda@gmail.com, email==c.e.l.e.g.u.r@gmail.comc.e.l.e.g.u.r@gmail.com=c.e.l.e.g.u.r@gmail.comc.e.l.e.g.u.r@gmail.com/email, email==celeg.ur@gmail.comceleg.ur@gmail.com=celeg.ur@gmail.comceleg.ur@gmail.com/email, c.elegur+freepay@gmail.com ([bd9a2da3a71]Note The above are not my e-mail address, and are used simply as an example.[/bd9a2da3a71])
Sending e-mail to any of the above will be the same as email=ing email=celegur@gmail.comcelegur@gmail.coming email=celegur@gmail.comcelegur@gmail.com/email. ([id9a2da3a71]Note Those who will test this by e-mailing themselves ... it doesn't work when you e-mail yourself, as it automatically goes into archive.[/id9a2da3a71]) -- The predicament is does Gratis Network's system know that? I'm going to assume yes, but I still like to cover my bases. =)
(On a side note, I think it's /very/ cool that Freepay can have a community rep., and really boosts my respect for the company.)

More accurately, Gmail takes any punctuated version of your email= address out of circulation and forwards if to the main account for ease of user use. So if my buddy is trying to email me and can only remember my email address prefix is "supdog" but doesn't know there the punctuation goes, he can just email email=supdog@gmail.comsupdog@gmail.com address out of circulation and forwards if to the main account for ease of user use. So if my buddy is trying to email me and can only remember my email address prefix is "supdog" but doesn't know there the punctuation goes, he can just email email=supdog@gmail.comsupdog@gmail.com/email and get me. He could also variably email= email=s.updog@gmail.coms.updog@gmail.com email=s.updog@gmail.coms.updog@gmail.com/email, su.pdog@gmail, etc, and they would all get to me.

Not to hijack the thread, but this leads me to a question about a slightly similar situation I have. I signed up for Blockbuster Online on freepsps. The problem is, I clicked the offer link on freepsps, filled out the first part of the form (name, email, password) and submitted it. When I got to the second part of the form, I realised I had used a different email address than I had used to sign up for freepsps, so I clicked back. I filled out the form with the proper email address and successfully completed my registration.
Now I thought nothing of this until I received an email from Blockbuster on the wrong email address saying that my registration is incomplete (it's complete on the correct email address, of course). This got me thinkin that Gratis possibly tracked my [b50abc5bd89]failed[/b50abc5bd89] registration with the wrong email address and didn't track my [b50abc5bd89]successful[/b50abc5bd89] registration with the proper email address. I'm hoping this isn't the case, and hope Jake knows the answer. Think I'll receive credit?
Basically, will Blockbuster know that my successful registration was referred by freepsps.com, or was that negated when I backed out of the first registration after only completing the first part of the form?

I'd suggest you make another thread on that, kevxross ... even though my question has been answered in PM by Jake (hence, not really anything left to hijack.)
doylnea's got the right idea, though =)
