yah same here malformed, I have that cable it came wit my 20GB Archos Jukebox V2, I plugged it into my pc and then into my stereo. SUWEET!

thats where i got my cable from... my Archos Recorder 20gig

my archos was nice for a while, but then it started having all sorts of problems.
would freeze up in the middle of songs, then it started to lose its charge in a couple hours even with new batterys.
i tore it apart and thought i had it fixed but it still had problems.

i couldnt charge it using the charger that came with it, i had to remove the batterys and charge them outside the mp3 player.
it worked well for a long time, but then the firmware got fried somehow. it would freeze during bootup.
so i formatted it, and dropped new firmware into it and then i couldnt connect it to my computer or listen to mp3's on it.

so i took out the drive to use it in my laptop, and turns out the hard drive is trashed.

mine died afta 3 months....It wont even turn on anymore. I Gotta call Archos and have em fix the POS.

The bose setup kinda sucks, but the charger is nice. I still think using apple's dock is better with line out to a stereo.

Agreed - the bass on those speakers sounds like you're listening through headphones. Go with a setup to hook the iPod up to your stereo or something...

the guy who did this says that if you get 7 green referrals, he will special order anything for you that is $300

well thats cool.
could get something worthwhile that way.

you know... these companys would have an easier time if they just offered CHECKS or money orders along with the other stuff. ;)

yeah i thought about that... but thats no fun lol
