Gonna need one to edit all of my music files with retarded ID3 tags for the iPod, if I ever get one.

Seriously, the people who edit the ID3 tags on some of these mp3's are seriously retarded. If you aren't gonna make the tag correct, there shouldn't even be an ID3 tag in the first place.

You can do it with Winamp, but there are probably programs designed specifically for this purpose.

http//www.id3-tagit.de/english/index.htm I downloaded this a few days ago but I've yet to try it out or even install it. But from its description it sounds perfect and just what you're looking for. Maybe you'll try it and let us know if it's any good or not? ;)

i just started using music brainz tagger and editor www.musicbrainz.org its got full cddb support, for albums not in its database you can import it if its listed on freedb.org. on the first shot without any mucking around, got about 60-70% of my 6000 songs. i like it, and made it nice and quick and easy for me

There is a program called Tag and Rename. Its the best program out there. It can mass edit and all kinds of stuff. It will look up the tracks on amazon then put the info into the id3 tag including the album cover.

on the pane on the left side, click on "edit data" then click on import from freedb.org or something along those lines. not at home now, but thats basically what it is. you'll look up the album on freedb.org (will open browser in lower right window), then just copy and paste the album id. really pretty simple
