Why people are getting shipped randomly

It probably is Apple that processes all of the orders that Gratis sends them (probably in order) randomly, because Apple could care less about who gets their iPod first, they already got their money.

Am I right? If I am, then all STVs will ship SOON! D

Uhh, yeah, that's been pretty much concluded. Some 9/15s have already shipped, BTW. Just figured I'd point that out to back your theory.

Well it's just that everyone points the blame at Gratis, and sometimes it might actually be their fault. But other times (probably most of the time) it is the vendor's fault.

Yeah...I understand what you're saying, but we HAVE to acknowledge that these orders are being transmitted electronically.....with computers...Computers don't usually randomize things.

That's where the confusion lies....

The order maybe random because the poor children who pack the boxes have small hands and can't read English. They just grab a iPod and cram it in a box. twisted

Well, how else are they gonna get that gleaming white goody packed up all snug-like in its box? Packing fairies?

You can't really blame Apple either. If Gratis just gave them a batch of orders, Apple is just going to process them how ever they can, probably using several people to input them .
Gratis should have given the orders date by date, in intervals to make sure they went out in the correct order.
Anyway, would-a, should-a, could-a, it's all academic right now.

Yeah, they could have just given them 2 weeks worth of orders at a time, working from August, through October.. but they didn't, and what's done is done. In the grand scheme of things, it won't matter... we'll all have our freebies, and we'll all be happy.
