Question about Fedex Reference Tracking

ok I just went to Fedex.com>Track>Track by Reference. When I put in the following info.

M9160LL/A <-Silver Mini, Which I Ordered
October 20th, 2004
U.S.A
48164
Results = Not Tracked

M9282LL/A <-20GB iPod, Which I didnt Order
October 20th, 2004
U.S.A
Results = Not Found

I did the 20gb to test something. Does anyone know what "Not Tracked" means?

means nothing has been shipped

does that mean its been ordered just needs to be shipped? and BTW how do u know it means it hasnt been shipped?

it means nothing has been shipped... nothing is coming to that zip code

but why have 2 things then? "Not Tracked" & "Not Found"

I'm getting the same thing (not tracked). This afternoon it was Unique Match Not Found. what's going on?

I believe Not tracked means a shipping label has been printed for an item headed to that zipcode. However, it hasn't yet been scanned into this system.

it might mean it shipped but they don't have the tracking # yet
