Also, regarding fraudulent activities, he did nothing wrong himself, it must have been a glitch in Gratis' system, he can not be held responsible in any way.

Even if it happened 500 times, Apple would just eat it. They would have to try to pursue 500 people individually, each for $300. It just would never be worth the bad press or cost of litigation. ONE HOUR of their attorney's time is likely at least $300.
Ignoring the legal costs involved, it doesn't matter anyway because no law has been broken if he is merely accepting a shipment that was sent by mistake.
If he committed mail fraud, then it's not even in Apple's hands anyway, because they would have to go to the FBI for enforcement.
Is he being a douchebag? Yes. Will he get sued or arrested? No.

Here's what i think
#1 I doubt this is Gratis problem.... Gratis got their end of the deal, they gave the order to Apple, so Gratis is out of the picture. Apple screwed up on their shipments....
#2 If this is individual, Apple probably will not be too aggressive to get it back... I was also thinking that lawyer thing (whoever mentioned it above) and plus, Apple probably pays like what...... less than 60$ probably to get 20GB HD + casing + wiring + labor to put it all together (Coming from China, it's cheap). But since they order/manufacture in huge bulk, its probably way cheaper. SO IF he receives 2, it's no biggie. The worst case scenario is they just ask it back
#3 Douchebag? No. Sure I'm jealous, but it's nice of him to share the info. Personally, I wouldn't have posted this thread (which does not make him stupid). As to the rest of you, I just think you are too overly jealous. No need to hate him for getting 2 (if he does).
