I know this may be a stupid question, but I still don't have credit for someone that completed the blockbuster deal last sunday and my question is, "Do they have to actually rent some movies, for you to actually get the credit". She said she got a confirmation e-mail from Blockbuster, but not gratis yet.

one of my FFS referrals did the same thing... did the offer this past sunday...no green light just yet

im thinking either theyre just slow, or they wait until the 2 week trial is over so they can verify you didnt quit early.

anyone know from experience?

I did blockbuster and got credit before the 2 weeks were over(this was at the end of september/beginning of october)... i'm not totally sure, but i did rent movies right when the trial period started... maybe you do have to rent them to make it go faster...

Oh, well do you think that I'll be getting credit at all because I don't think she plans on renting any movies. She's afraid of getting charged so basically she just signed up.

Here's an idea, why don't you chill out and TRY the service. When you sign up you are agreeing to a two week free trial. Use your two week free trial. I am just going on my first month of service, and it's great. I got my $20 worth the first week.

Also, I just got an email from Blockbuster detailing some new "perks" of their membership ...

If you are signing up only to cancel, you will eventually get this service taken away from people who would actually like to use it!

Yeah, I can to cancel because I didn't have enough in my account (broke-ass student...), but I loved the trial period. Not only do i get to order online(it's always a hassle to go to blockbuster)- I keep the movie as long as I want, AND I get 2 free in-store rentals. I mean, It's a great deal sonsidering that just 1 rental is normally 4 bucks.

All right, my friend is going to order her videos now. But how long does it take for credit to show up, she's ordering them today. So, will I get the credit instantly today, or just when she actually receives them?

( i signed up for the blockbuster trial sept 2.
i even kept the account active. (the service is worth it, imho)

but, no credit for completion at all.

i've sent a customer service inquiry. and got an automated reply saying, to wait at least 15 days. and if i have done so, to send them my welcome email from blockbuster and they'll look into it. so i replied w/my blockbuster welcome mail. no response, and the inquiry got set to "closed"..

so i tried again. it's still open, but i think i've figured out what the issue was. i'm on a mac, using safari. (

why didn't it warn me about that before i signed up?

oh well.. hopefully, they get me credit.

i've also got probably 20 referalls... all yellow ( when i know a few of them are even shipping THEIR ipod already.

maybe i got lost in the cracks...
