Thinking about buying someone elses account? Read this first

1. I complete 2 greens on freegamingsystem & freeflatscreen
2. User uwmarchitect (now banned) gives me his freephotoipod account that has 5 greens
3. I complete 2 more greens on logitech4free and iwannafreegame
4. trade complete
5. I continue to get greens on freephotoipod after changing the password so only i would have access. I get 4 more greens for a total of 9 greens on the account.
6. uwmarchitect clicks 'Forgot Your Password?' and my password is sent to his email (uwmarchitect@yahoo.com).
7. uwmarchitect logs in and changes the password so i can't get in.
8. The End


I just don't want this to happen to anyone else. Lucky for me uwmarchitect (aka Stephen R. Capela of Wheaton, IL) is a easy user to track down info on. I'll be calling him soon.

edit I've been talking to jake and it sounds like in addition this guy has multiple accounts, so they are all going on hold, i guess thats good news

Ive never sold gratis accounts, only OC cause i dislike OC. I would assume gratis wouldnt allow it.

I didn't think there was a way to change your shipping address.....even if you changed the e-mail and password for the account....wouldn't it get sent to the guy's home address anyways?

Or, are you able to change shipping information on the other Gratis sites? I know on freeipods.com there's no way to change that.

of course there is, when u request your gift, u verify the address, and that's when it matters.

Oooooh, ok, thanks. That's good to know. I've done everything but submit my order, so I didn't get a chance to do that. This is great because when I do submit my order there might not be anyone living at my apartment for a few weeks so I can have it shipped to my house in Chicago.

I haven't received any IM's from you since June 23rd, the day you went green for me, this is the same day I sent you the remainder of the money. I have the paypal receipt to show that I paid you, and you also submitted our trade for approval (and we were accepted), so this seems inconsistent with you not receiving the money.

Please let me know if there's been a mistake, if you would like me to find the PayPal receipts, or if you were asking someone else.
