MINIS anyone??

Hey STV since 9/8 for a mini here, anyone else? Some people say the minis take longer...but it seems to me like everyone is ordering regular ipods so why are the minis in short supply?

Anyway, has anyone recieved/waiting on/ordered/shipped a mini?

I never understood why people dont just get the 20gb then exchange it for a mini when they get it...

thats easy. because i dont want a 20gb. and i dont know who will take it if I didnt buy it from their store.

and also, i figure everyone is ordering 20gbs so won't mine come faster if I order the mini? nobodys ordering those..

wrong. Maybe very few people order minis with fip.com but we do share the same stock as the people who buy their ipod (yes, there are people buying ipods out there. Amazing, I know). I believe the minis' sales are very good and as a consequence the stock of minis is actually smaller than that of 20Gb. And I guess this is understandable if I had to buy my ipod I would seriously consider the mini (although I think I would still go for the 20), but if it's for free, why should I turn down the extra drive space?

Maybe with the shipping now departing from the factory in Shangai, delays for the minis will shorten as well, I don't know.
