a thought about freephotoipods

since the price of the 60GB color ipod dropped recently (now only $399), don't you think that 10 referrals are a bit much? just my two cents/pesos/yen.

I agree! the 360xbox costs more and its only 8 refs,but the photo is less and is 10 refs.

You can't be sure that the Xbox costs more until the release date.

I doubt they will decrease the required # of referrals ) They might change it in the future with a better model, but until that time - bad luck ;)

Well until they do my photoipod is officially on hold....I do have 28 random yellows though so I guess if 9 more go green I'll take it, but I'm sure not gonna work too hard at it.

Let me refrase that.I ment that the 360xbox will most likely be $300 or more (I don't see it going for any less) so its around the same price as the photo,and it is less referals then the photo,so why if their the same price?

Now that the PS3 is set at 399, there is no reason for Microsoft to sell the xbox360 for any less. Why take a greater loss on the hardware than they have to. The lowest I see it going for is 350.

But yes, gratis should lower the refs on freephotoipods. or just close freephotoipods to new members (i can see that happening sooner) since all ipods are now photo.

but how would closing it to new members work on a referral site?

thats why i dont want to do freeflatscreens, it doesnt seem like its worth it really... 10 refs= about 500 bucks...

i would love to see microsoft be an ass and sell xbox360 for 299. Its already gonna pwn ps3 in every other aspect.

Yeah I know ppl who have preordered their actual 360 at like gaming stores and stuff, and they are only paying 300 for em. I'm sure that's all microsoft is going to get for them.
