I love how the HPod ads make it look like owning an HPod turns you into this really cool awesome creative talented person as soon as you turn it on.

It seems as if there was a problem back in July. According to the site I visited
The units we know to be affected were manufactured in China, shipped from Shanghai, and ordered directly from Apple.

i bet yours will arrive on the 17th. UPS is gay like that. They get it to my city the day before..usually in the early MORNING. and it sits on a truck until the next day when it's delievered to me.

Yeah...that's only because I live in Indiana. I always do the free saver shipping on Amazon.com, and since they have a distribution warehouse in Kentucky, it takes like two business days to get stuff. I'm sure if I lived on the East coast or futher west it would have taken 3 days. )

The outer one says 9/7 2-something so I know that's when I switched.

uhh, I'm pretty sure that the "inner" status page as you're calling it doesn't have the switch date. I have a similar situation where my "outer" status page has the 9/7 date/time and the "inner" status page has a 9/8 135pm order time and I think it's just a difference of when they approved your account or something and then when they actually submitted the order. I also switched to the hp ipod but I didn't switch until 9/9.

If you're going to take the time to "box out" your tracking number, please realize that anyone with a weak grasp of how barcodes work and the patience of your average 14-year-old can decode that information from parts of your shipping label that you chose not to obscure.
