So, now that my ipod is coming, what do I buy?

What are some good cases for the 4g ipod to prevent the screen from getting messed up? Also, is it worth it to try and exchange up for the 40 gig unit?

shut up quit making me jelous j/p. u should get some better head phones, and get iSkin, its hte shit it looks tight and it protects the ipod really well. the only bad thing is that its 40$ and it takes like a week or 2 to come

if you get an iskin, make sure its for the 4th generation ipods.

Regardless of case, the thing is getting a nice treatment of screen plastic stickon crap. I just need something to help keep it clean overall.

um, dont drop it in the mud? this isnt a piece of priceless art. it probably wont even last more than a few years. even if it did, youll probably have something 10x better by then anyway. i hope people just arent so lazy to use a cloth and water every so often that they would rather spend $40 dollars on a case instead. seems like a waste of money to me.
i can see the screen guards, but damn, you'll have to throw that thing around a lot to get enough scratches on it that would prevent you from seeing what was behind it.

I just like to treat my stuff well. I have never let a piece of electronics out of my life except if I sold the thing on ebay. I can't stand having something that looks beatup.

my ipod (after the fist day) had all the corners scratched and shit and the screen had 3 scratches. we all know for a fact apple makes them like that so you buy the ripoff case that sucks ass where you have to take it out ever tiem you wanna touch anything

i like the adapter and iskin on there, but the holster looks kinda useless and 20$ for it is kinda a waste of money... and i dont really like in ear headphones, and i heard their uncomfortable

The holster clips onto a clip on the console of my car so I can see and control the iPod while driving.

when you say 4gb ipod do you mean you got a mini? if you did then you should get the alluminum case... i got mine for 12+7 shipping (19 total and normally they are like 30-35... its the best case IMO and its not big at all, it adds like a centimeter to every side of the thing, doesnt really affect the size much and now i can put it in my pocket w/o worrying about the screen scratching or anything...

there are 2 alluminum cases and the one i got was fully conceled (they have one like the iskin where there are holes to touch the wheel and see the screen, but mine has a hinged door type thing), so as to protect my screen if its in my pocket with keys and anything else...

EDIT it also comes with a belt clip, but it can unscrew from the back so its just flat (thats how i use it)
