Does anyone know how to safely clean an LCD screen? My poor Samsung 17" is getting dirty... fingerprints everywhere (

i just get a soft cloth and damp it.
LCD still works and gets the job done wink

The most recommended solution is to use 50/50 isopropyl alchohol and water, or vinegar and water. DON'T use Windex or anything similar - ammonia can damage the anti-glare coating and yellow the plastic surface of the display. I've tried pure water, pure alchohol, and the 50/50 solution...i've noticed the 50/50 tends to streak a bit compared to (90% or so) pure rubbing alchohol...also, if you use a soft cloth like an old cotton tshirt, you'll get better results than if you use some kind of disposable wipe or a paper towel.
