The Apple iPod remote sucks - get a RemoteRemote, which is what I plan on getting...
The buttons on the Apple remote are really tiny and the clip is so narrow that you can't really clip it onto your shirt, bookbag, etc. I wasn't impressed.

Im happy with my remote. Would have been better if there was a LCD on it. Clip is fine for me since I carry a Nike bag, so i just clipp it on the string.
