Future iPods could be...

So in my MacAddict magazine they had an article on the future of the mac, and it had some ipod stuff in there too...

Like the iPod being a video player.. (playing stuff that your windows media player plays). Wouldn't that be cool??

The iPod being a digital camera...

Also, they had some stuffs about the iPod being a DV Camera in the near future...I'll scan some of the pictures they had.

I'd like to see the video player personally, i think that would be plain sic.

Well, let's hear your thoughts on what you think the iPod will be in the future...

This seems to be the trend in Japan. Being that they test market electronic devices like this in Japan before bringing it here, that sounds feasible to me.

The Japanese like multi-functional and compact devices. iPods are "too big" by their standards. They would rather have a much smaller unit that holds 1/25th the music.

yea a video ipod and possibly a digital camera add on would be hella sick. and those japanese people have some sick ass gadgets...

Actually, it would play things your Quicktime Player plays. I doubt it would play any Windows media format... just like iPod won't play WMA files now...
But who wants to watch video on such a tiny screen is my question.

you could take it in the car or something on long trips and watch mini dvds... people use their PDAs to watch movies, why not an iPod?

i thought ipods were selling like hotcakes in japan...oh well.

it's called an archos... it's happened before. and it'd be better than the ipod.
