All the HP orders were apparently switched to Apple orders. Apple has ALL of Gratis orders it seems.
And yes, if you do some digging, several 9/15's have shipped.

I'm a 9/15er and I got shipped today. I'm so happy. w00t. I stopped checking the site cause it was taking so long, so I was pretty surprised when I got the email today. It's getting sent directly from Shanghai and the reference number is M9282LL/A which I think is a 20 gig Apple Ipod without engraving? (Not sure). Good luck to the rest of you.

Since the theory seems to be "Since we switched to hp, we have not shipped." and not "All 9/15s that did not switch have shipped." The theories go unaffected.
Though, when you consider the ratio of people who use this forum to people who don't, the chance that there are a lot of people like buffity STRIX who HAVE shipped is pretty good. Even if they did read this forum, I'd think they'd keep up with it more when they were waiting for their pod, rather they when they've gotten it.

All the older people still waiting, before they ship get the date changed (apparantly when the order is submitted to apple).
I'm still 9/15.
So nothing was done since.
I'm pretty sure it will change to a more recent date, then ship a few days later.
IMHO we got a while to go.

ok, this stupid track by reference thing on fedex is making me mad. i check almost every day (because i'm obsessive) and each time it shows this ipod that went to someone who lives in my zip code, which is fine. the thing is, the ipod was shipped and delivered over 15 days ago - and i assumed that the "+/- 15 days" thing under the pull-down menus for the ship date meant it would only show shipments shipped within 15 days? this ipod was shipped and recieved over 20 days ago.
also, if i go forward or backwards a day, it just says "not found" and doesn't show this damn tracking. but if i search for the current day (every time, so if i searched for 10/17 yesterday) it just shows the track on this guy's package.
this has nothing at all to do with me getting my ipod, sorry.

Got my Ipod in the mail today. It shipped out friday at 102 am from shanghai and was on the doorstep this morning at 9am. Crazy fast shipping. It was worth the wait. It wend STV on 9/16 and I did switch to HPod on the 20th so I don't think that has anything to do with your wait. Shipping seems fucked up and random to me.
