They emailed me saying it was shipped, and then I went to the freeipods site and checked and found the tracking number there.

ok so a package with this ref number just showed up on fedex for my zip code and it never has before...is there ANY way I can check to see if it is coming to my address without calling them?..i have a fedex.com account..but i hate talking on the phone.

You could setup FedEx Insight - but I'm not sure if that works all that well. You can set it up so that it'll supposedly tell you when an incoming package is either using your fedex account number or is coming to your address. I have Insight setup, but they've yet to send my iPod so I don't know if its working. I haven't heard of others on the board yet that have been alerted by it either.

Otherwise, just call - its easy since you have the tracking number...
