Unless you're selling something (like, you know, a REAL item) and putting little links at the bottom of your ad (in small type), you'll have your account suspended. I personally know three people who tried that and got their asses canned from using the site.

I read the rules and nowhere did it say that asking if the ebay approach was successful was in violation.

However, it IS in violation of Ebay policies, and it is a rule that we don't accept violations of other companies TOS' or support it, and as its considered spam under Ebay's TOS then rule six applies, read it, learn it, live it
