I checked with fedex today (10/15) and called them up. I found out the package is coming to me. Reference number M9282LL/A...same one.

Shipped out today (10/15)
Arrival Date 10/20

So i guess all you STV 10/6 are going to be shipped soon.

Oh yea.. still STV on freeipods website

I think there are multiple vendor cue's. I think you may be like me... and stuck with a slow vendor.

It looks like Gratis sent some to Apple, Apple was slow, so they went to another vendor(s). Then Apple sped up (as they did in early Sept when the cue of new G4 iPods started to clear)... Gratis went back to Apple.

We seem to be stuck in an odd batch. I'm in the same boat.

Then track by reference, Enter M9282LL/A, ur country, and zip.
I got a result back, but it doesnt give you an address. You have to call fedex to check. Call 1800 go fedex. Say "Rep" on the phone and ask them if there's somethign coming to ur address.

Oh ..and I did switch to HP Ipod when I had the chance to. yes, I know they are not shipping HPs anymore. In case anyone was wondering.

Don't mind me. I guess I'm a newb as you'd call it. Anyway, I've been lurking around now for about a month and finally decided to chime in. I'm a 9/15 no STV date switch also. So all three of us are in that boat!

just call 1-800-go-fedex and tell them you dont have the tracking number but are expecting a package and ask if they can help you out. they'll ask for your address, and tell you if anything is being sent to your address, and what the delivery date is, yada yada yada. unfortunately, the only thing in their system coming to my address is 2gb of ram ( on the other hand, gotta love newegg.com ;)

I did that, Called and asked if I can know if anything is coming to my address and the guy was like "What's the Tracking Number" and I was like I don't know as of yet...and he was like "You need to give me a tracking number to find out anythin"...so I was just like fuck it

EDIT I called again, and this time the guy was willing to help me out without a trackin number...but there is nothin coming to my address which I pretty much expected....since it just went STV on the 13th -x

Apple offers free shipping on orders over 50 bucks. I am sure these qualify. If not they probably have a really good deal on shipping 100+ at a time to customers.

Actually I had a tracking number when i called fedex cuz i had a unique hit when i tried to track by reference. I just didnt have address info so thats why I called them up to see if iwas really mine. But they should be able to tell just based on your address alone..if they still allow that.

9-13 original stv date, changed to 9-15 a couple days later. nothing since.

had the 'unique match not found' on fedex 2 weeks back when my friend from home's was on its way, but now no matches on fedex.

I just went to the alternate reference tracking[=https//www.fedex.com/AltRefTracking?link=2&cntry_code=us]alternate reference tracking on fedex.com and put M9282LL/A as the refernce along with my zip code and got tracking info for a package from Shanghai. )

The chance that someone else ordered an ipod from my zip is EXTREMELY small (rural area).

Yea..my area is kidna like that too.. but only way to find out if its really yours is to call fedex and confirm that its going to your address.

HPOD selected since day 1. Never changed. (I know they only ship Apples now..)

I can't believe how quickly I shipped! I was really not expecting this, I only found out about the site on 9/15. I started to suspect that I would be shipping when I began to see other people around my STV date, with the changed STV also, being shipped. Sure enough, I found a tracking number for my ZIP code today and called FedEx once again. It is mine and it Will be delivered Thursday!

I think that if anyone with a STV from August or September does not get their Ipod this week, then Gratis is definitely still waiting on an old order from Ecost. It would be the ONLY logical explanation.

I'm sorry for everyone that has waited for longer than me. If they don't get Ipods this week, I think Gratis should give them all 40 gigs instead of 20s. Not because the wait is unfair, I mean, the Ipod is free (YES, it is FREE nerys!). They should reward them because it's not fair that almost everyone is getting theirs before them. That's just a slap in the face.

If you call up fedex and give them your address and the reference number, can they tell you that a package is coming to your exact address, or merely your zip code?

first try doing the track by reference on the website with your zip code. If there's only one coming to that zip code, then you'll have the tracking number you can ask FedEx about. Of course, some people just call and ask with their address (not even using the reference) - so you could just bypass it all and call FedEx. As long as you get a nice rep...

I called FedEx last night to ask about any shipments coming to my address and they said there were none.

I called FedEx this afternoon to ask again and they confirmed that a package from Apple was coming on October 21 to my address.

I went to Processing on 9/24 and was STV on 9/27 later moved to 10/6.
