Apple requested my iPod back

I just got home and checked the status on my 8/14 through Fed Ex and got a Delivery exception, wrong address, package returned to shipper. After a long 30 minutes on the phone the guy told me Apple called FedEx and demanded the package be returned. I have no clue why and don't know what's going on.....

they may have sent you the wrong item (like a mini or a 40 gig) i think there was a post about this a while ago. it happen to someone else when graits was ordering for ecoast.

I just might have......but that doesn't make sense, it was in my town 4 hours ago and now it's gone. I probably won't be getting no Ipod anymore unless it was a mistake.

i got that fedex status once when i ordered an item off ebay and my paypal shipping address was still to my old house. The seller shipped and fedex sent it back to the seller. i had that same " Delivery exception, wrong address, package returned to shipper"

Did you find out why they shipped it back. I'm just hoping it was the wrong product.

Kaucoin If you frauded and they found out, they'll take it back even when it's that far away from them...

I fully understand that and I hope thats not the reason they shipped it back. Will just have to wait and here what they say.

personally i'd call up apple, give em your tracking number and ask if they can provide for information.

Actually I signed up for an account there and completed my 5 and my brother signed up as well. I don't know if they were going to consider this fraud or not because he never completed his offers. chill out man. And apple said they can't do anything because I'm not Gratis so I dunno. I'm just bull that it was 20 minutes from my house and now its in China

FedEx is notorious for shipping to the wrong address or just dumping the packages on the side of the street in the middle of nowhere. They delivered a gift once that I ordered to the wrong house that was 3 blocks away from the correct address.

I emailed gratis they have not responded yet. My ipod was hours from my house and apple demanded it to be returned. I have waited for 2 months and did nothing to violate the terms of service. I hope this is just a mistake. Sucks to b e that close and then have your ipod sent back.

I'm hoping they sent a mini accidently. I'll check tommorow withb Fedex if anything is coming to my area and maybe they just reshipping. Gratis should at least make some effort to let us because they must be more that are getting their pods shipped back. Hopefully it will just be a week later.

what i find is amazing is that apple has nothing to do with this whole offer and freeipods.com convinced apple to call fedex and DEMAND it be returned..thats a lot of contacting in a fast amount of time.

I have no clue if it even had to do with Gratis.....It might have been apple's mistake. I'm hoping it was apple's mistake though
